New previously unreleased Earl Sweatshirt music!
I’m going to do something different for the picks of the week now! I’m going to post one song that overall is my pick of the week but also post a link to the 4 other songs that deserve love in your playlist!
#1. OVERALL PICK OF THE WEEK
LUDACRIS – ACT A FOOL. This song is in memory of the late Paul Walker who is actually in this video as this song was a promo song for 2 Fast 2 Furious which Luda was in!
Schoolboy Q – Sex Drive
Bodega Bamz – Don Fransisco
Jay Z – Run This Town
Earl Sweatshirt- Whoa
You Can find the videos HERE
Odd Future coming with that HEAT. On this track is Tyler the Creator, Hodgy Beats, Domo Genesis, and Earl Sweatshirt, produced by the Nottz
It’s nice to hear Tyler on some beats not made by him. Not to say I don’t like his beats, it’s just nice hear him expand his beat selection,
Earl Sweatshirt is at it again, dropping another song set to appear on his upcoming album Doris. This time he brought fellow California rappers Vince Staples and Casey Veggies. I can’t wait to here the album in it’s entirety!
Earl Sweatshirt just dropped a new song!!!!!!!!!!!! Earl goes hard on this track, bringing back the Earl 2010 flow. Tyler the Creator is also on the song doing the hook and assumably the production. This track is probably going to be on Earl’s upcoming album Doris, which from this track and Chum is looking to be a serious album.
Earl Sweatshirt – WHOA (ft Tyler the Creator)
Earl Sweatshirt dropped a new video yesterday for his single Chum and reveled that his new album title will be called Doris. If you haven’t herd of Earl Sweatshirt he is a rapper from the L.A area who is part of the Odd Future Collective. After gaining critical attention at the age of 16 with his self released mixtape Earl he was sent to boarding school and largely unheard of for 2 years. During that time Odd Future, specifically Tyler the Creator was gaining national attention. The Odd Future collective had a FREE EARL campaign that they would say during songs, shows, interviews, and even put on clothing. This led to Earl Sweatshirt developing a cult like following among Odd Future fans. He final returned from boarding school earlier this year and this is the first solo track that he has released after appearing on some Odd Future related tracks. Ear Sweatshirt is definitely someone to watch in 2013, he has the talent, but whether he can harness that talent is to be determined.
Hope You Enjoy!
