U.O.E.N.O. – Usher (REMIX)

Yep, you read it right.

If you weren’t convinced by now that the U.O.E.N.O. beat is hot than this should hopefully convince you.

It’s really an odd combination, but hey I’m still sitting here listening to it aren’t I.

New Kanye West – Black Skinhead & New Slaves

I don’t know if you’ve heard yet, but Kanye West has new music. It’s off of his upcoming album Yeezus.

Here’s Black Skinhead which he performed on SNL last night.

And here’s New Slaves which he also performed. Overall the performance is pretty freaky, from what he’s wearing to the visuals behind him.

I really don’t know what to make of it, but it means that we get a new Kanye Album eventually which of course is dope.

2 Chainz Feat. Wiz Khalifa – We Own It

I know you’re excited for the new Fast & Furious movie that comes out LEGIT EVERY SUMMER.

Just in case you forgot about the entire franchise: This new video tells you the whole story while you listen to 2 Chainz (DOPE) and Wiz Khalifa (Dope).

Hope you enjoy it

The Devil Wears Prada – Jared Evan & Statik Selektah

Off of their duo album Boom Bap & Blues, Jared Evan & Statik Selektah join  up to give us the track The Devil Wears Prada.

His album also features a couple of rappers we really like, for example our boy Joey Bada$$. Here’s the track Black & White.

Pusha-T & Fabolous : The Life Is So Exciting

What up fam.

Sleepy eyed, and a little sore I got up this morning and headed up to campus like I regularly do. But it’s all good today because I went to a DOPE concert last night. I drove up to Minneapolis to see Fabolous & Pusha-T at Epic Nightclub. The venue itself was pretty great, small enough to hear every word, but big enough to get a massive amount of people inside. There were a couple opening acts for them, two were some small local rappers & groups of rappers, but the main opening act was Lil Durk.

Lil Durk is a rapper outside of the SouthSide of Chicago. He’s often associated with Chief Keef’s crew and Lil Reese. The squad that he was with on stage was Massive. They all looked like the guys that Keef had in the original I Don’t Like music video, basically people I wouldn’t want to be caught in a car with if we got pulled over by the cops.

After Durk finished, King Push came out. He was ill, and had great crowd interaction. His set included things from the G.O.O.D. Music Compilation, Fear of God, Fear of God 2, but above all The Wrath of Caine.

When he performed Blocka, the place went nuts.

Finally at about 12:30AM Brooklyn’s Own Fabolous came out. He pretty much performed the entire Soul Tape 2 mixtape from start to finish, and brought Push back on stage to perform The Life Is So Exciting. This is when stuff started to get crazy though, by this point in the night people were pretty liquored up, and a couple fights broke out. Security handled it and we kept rockin’. Fab seemed to perform nearly every verse he had from Holla Back to all of his newer stuff off the Soul Tape 2.

One song I’m kinda disappointed he didn’t perform was So NY. But I suppose in hindsight it’d be kinda weird to perform a song so heavy about New York in a different city.

Concert was crazy, and I’m exhausted.

Street Dreaming – Bridget Kelly Feat. Kendrick Lamar

New Music Alert: Coming out of Brooklyn, Bridget Kelly is a R&B singer who has had a couple singles out in the mix for a little bit, but her newest one features the hottest MC of the year K-Dot.

When I first found this track, I glanced over it. However, after a good attentive listen I really like it.

Support new good music. What do you think?
